The problem:
The existing bathroom was quite ordinary and severely lacked personality, in a property with lots of history and a story to tell.
The design brief:
To create a space with maximum impact and interest in its features to reflect the character of the cottage.
The solution:
A standard toilet just wasn’t going to work in this room. The polished aluminium, high level cistern with cranked flush pipe allowed it to be the hero of the design scheme. Set against the textured exposed brick & stone surfaces, the sleek glossy lines of the bath added the contrast needed. The basin shelf was designed to be as simple as possible so as not to detract nor overpower the rest of the room. The connecting door to the bedroom was clad with grey mirror, etched in panels emulating the glazing bars of the window beyond.
Client love,
this is what matters…
“We chose Bathroom Design Studio because they appeared to offer a more design led approach to our proposed shower room rather than just a plumbing exercise and we were not disappointed. The extensive discussions gave us the confidence to proceed and the end result was fabulous. The standard of workmanship of the friendly fitters was exemplary. We would certainly recommend BDS to anyone looking for a stylish new bathroom.”
